What sidewalk cleaning covers
Storefront frontage, entry plazas, HOA and apartment common-area walks, breezeways, stairwells and the public sidewalk along the property line: anything a customer or resident walks on between the parking lot and the door. For a home it is the front walk, the steps and the path around the side, usually done on the same visit as the driveway.
Gum, grease and the black spots
Gum is the one thing on a sidewalk that cold water will not touch. We run hot water, which softens it so it lifts in one piece instead of smearing, and the same heat cuts the grease ring outside a restaurant door. The black spots under an awning drip line and the dark band along a planter edge are organic growth. They are pre-treated so they die rather than rinse off and come back.
Sidewalk cleaning prices
Priced by the square foot, measured on site. One-time residential walks run 15 to 30 cents a square foot and are usually bundled with the driveway or patio. Commercial frontage on a monthly or quarterly schedule runs 8 to 20 cents a square foot per visit, because a walk that is cleaned regularly never needs the heavy first-visit treatment twice.
On a schedule, before the doors open
Most of our sidewalk work is recurring. We clean storefront and common-area walks early in the morning or after close, so there is no hose across the entrance while customers are arriving, and the work is finished before the first one shows up.
