Water blasting (soft wash) for house exteriors
Water blasting is what most people call it when they search for it. On a house we do it as a soft wash: low pressure, close to what a garden hose delivers, carrying a detergent that kills the mildew and algae instead of blasting at them. High pressure forces water behind vinyl, lifts paint and etches soft brick. Low pressure with the right solution gets the siding cleaner and leaves it intact.
When we do use pressure
Concrete, pavers and sound brick take high pressure well, so the driveway, walk and steps around the house usually get a surface cleaner on the same visit. The house itself gets the soft wash. The estimate says which surfaces get which method, so there is no guessing on the day.
